Composition and working principle of chiller system

The chiller unit is mainly composed of closed compressor, condenser, thermal expansion valve, drying filter, evaporator, gas-liquid separator and protection device.
When the chiller is running, the refrigeration compressor sucks the low-pressure and low-temperature refrigeration gas in the water-heat exchanger into the cylinder, compresses it and converts it into a gas with high pressure and temperature, and enters the condenser. The high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas exchanges heat with the cooling medium water, transfers heat to the water, and the refrigerant Gas condenses into high pressure liquids. The high pressure liquid enters the evaporator after throttling and depressurization. In the evaporator, the low-pressure liquid refrigerant vaporizes and absorbs the heat of the surrounding medium (water), thus cooling the water and becoming the required cryogenic water. The vaporized cryogenic refrigerant gas in the water-heat exchanger is inhaled and compressed by the compressor, which starts from time to time, circulates continuously, and produces chilled water to meet the production process requirements.
The application of water chiller in the cooling of plastic processing moulds can greatly improve the surface finish of plastic products, reduce the surface markings and internal stress of plastic products, make the products non-shrinkage and non-deformation, facilitate the demoulding of plastic products, accelerate the product setting, thus greatly improving the production efficiency of plastic molding machines. It can be used in CNC machine tools, coordinate boring machines, grinding machines, machining centers, modular machine tools, spindle lubrication of various precision machine tools and cooling of transmission media of hydraulic system. It can accurately control the oil temperature, effectively reduce the thermal deformation of machine tools, and improve the machining accuracy of machine tools.
The chiller is divided into air-cooled chiller and water-cooled chiller. According to the compressor, it is divided into screw chiller and scroll chiller. In temperature control, it is divided into low-temperature industrial chiller and normal-temperature chiller. The temperature of normal-temperature chiller is generally controlled in the range of 0-35 degrees. The temperature control of cryogenic units usually ranges from 0 degrees to -100 degrees.
